Today I ran 5 miles in 34:50. The real goal was to run 10X400 meter intervals with a one minute recovery between each interval. I ran the first 5 intervals at 10.0 mph. That was tiring and I did not have the psychological confidence to do the next five at the same pace. So I did the next three at 9.5 mph and the two at 9.7 mph. I felt good about my effort, but was still a little disappointed that I could not do the same pace as I did the last time I ran this.
