Today I just ran 3 miles in 21:23. I decided to run it differently than last time. I warmed-up for the first mile at 7.5 mph, then ran the next mile at 9.3 mph. Then I recovered at 7.5 mph for the next half mile (four minutes) and then finished the last half mile at 9.3 mph. I just felt this was better preparation for the race.
Then this evening I went out cycling for 15.88 miles. I did this in 50:48. It was a beautiful evening to be riding.
